What counts as a cue call?
One cue call is one POST to /v1/signal/streams/:id/cue. Each cue returns the next message plus audience-safety metadata plus a receptivity score. Discovery includes 50 cue calls a month; Per-Episode, PMPM and Enterprise are unlimited.
Can I start Per-Episode without talking to anyone?
Yes. Click Start Per-Episode, pay by card, and per-cue billing turns on against the same key. No demo, no contract. PMPM and Enterprise stay sales-assisted because they involve a BAA and contract terms.
How does Compass seat billing work?
Pick any roster from 5 to 499 seats and check out by card; the per-seat rate falls with volume, to about $9.60 at the top of the self-serve band. At 100+ seats we reach out to help with onboarding and invoicing. 500+ seats, a PO, SSO or a BAA go through benefits.
How does the BAA process work?
Display mode — the self-serve default for Signal and the whole Compass surface — never touches PHI, so it needs no BAA. A signed BAA is a deal-gated onboarding step for Deliver mode (Uphealth sending on a patient's behalf) at PMPM and above; it is set up with your security team, not flipped on as a self-serve toggle.
Is Reach priced separately?
No. Reach is the send-time intelligence inside Signal and Compass — every Signal cue calls it for the send, route, defer or hold decision, and every Compass delivery uses it to pick the minute inside the member's window. There is no standalone Reach SKU.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fee on Discovery, Per-Episode, PMPM or self-serve Compass seats. Enterprise engagements may include a one-time onboarding fee depending on custom-template scope and BAA review.
What if I outgrow Discovery in a week?
Click Start Per-Episode in your dashboard. Your sandbox key keeps working; only the per-cue billing turns on.
